SOUMEN GUHA [GAICD] [MIEAust]  Managing Director            

Soumen is the founder and Managing Director of Sustech Engineering. He is a graduate of the Australian institute of Company Directors. He has established Sustech Engineering and a few other subsidiary companies in the field of engineering and information technology. He is a Mechanical Engineer with 25+ years of international experience in Piping, Pipeline, Mechanical Engineering and Project Management in the fields of Oil & Gas, Power, Mining-Metal and Chemical industries across Australia, India, China, Malaysia, US, UK, Europe. He is a delivery–oriented project manager who has successfully managed and delivered 100s of small to medium projects out of most was for Sustech Engineering in last 8 years laying a strong foundation for Sustech Engineering. He is familiar with most contracting options i.e. PMC, EPCM, Lump-Sum Turnkey, Alliance, Risk Reward, Reimbursable, Cost+Fee. He has working experience with various E&Ps, Contractors & Licensors e.g. XOM, Shell, Petronas, Woodside, CoP, and Bechtel. He has special ability of problem solving in challenging and complex work situation. He is an engineer with positive attitude and has natural leadership ability with a bearing of responsibility and integrity. He believes in team effort and knowledge sharing as key to success. He has established track record as independent validator of design and MDRs of pipelines, facilities, process and power piping, tank farms and pressure vessels. He has successfully executed Project management and engineering management. 

DENNIS KIRK BURNNAND Principal Consultant

Dennis began his career in 1975 and has since gathered extensive design experience in oilfield production pipelines, plant piping systems, gas treating, gas transmission, gas metering, gas compression and mechanical equipment packages including pressure vessels, pumps and compressors. His skills include project management, engineering management, design supervision, site supervision, commissioning, start-up assistance, specification of process equipment and rotating machinery packages. He has acted as client’s representative. Dennis’ activities include technical studies, verification and validation of major facility design and construction records, design and specification of oilfield pipeline systems in steel, glass reinforced plastics (GRP), high density polyethylene (HDPE) and reinforced thermoplastics (RTP). Dennis has developed design methodologies for the application of GRP and RTP to high pressure pipelines and HDPE for low pressure pipelines and has been a key contributor to updating various AS and ISO Standards for these materials. 

GUY CAMERON  Project Director/Advisor

Guy is a highly capable and result oriented Study and Project Manager with over 25 years of experience. He has executed projects from conceptual stage to detailed design and engineering, plant operation, productivity improvement studies, trouble shooting, commissioning, technical advising, review and estimation. He has vast experience in the fields of project management, bid management, business, commercial management and operations management. He has in depth knowledge of studies and reviews, mechanical discipline engineering of Offshore, Onshore and Sub Sea Oil & Gas projects. Guy can safely deliver projects within schedule and budget, ensuring proper technical outcome on exact functionality of project satisfying all regulatory requirements. 

SANDIP MAITRA  Senior Piping & Mechanical Engineer

Sandip is a competent professional with more than 19 years of experience in Piping & Mechanical Engineering. His previous work includes Piping Design, Project Management, Construction and Commissioning support across the Oil & Gas, Petrochemical and Mineral industries. Sandip is experienced in making general arrangements for piping including equipment sections and piping details; reviewing of piping layouts, inter discipline layouts and checking of vendor drawings. He is adept in planning, executing engineering projects involving detailed engineering, development, contract administration, resource planning in compliance to the project requirements & safety environment. Sandip has shown to be deft at designing and drafting including supervision, conceptual layout, piping design, pipe supports, fabrication drawings, MTO and troubleshooting in project construction. He has displayed high proficiency in carrying out design for Oil & Gas Refinery and Pipeline projects, Mineral processing as per the applicable Codes & Standards. Alongside his engineering expertise, Sandip has strong relationship management, communication skills with the ability to network with Project Members, Consultants and Contractors with consummate ease. He has displayed excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the distinction of receiving recognition for exemplary performance; experience derived from working under cross-cultural and multi-lingual environments. 

DEEPAK NAIR Principal Structural Engineer

Deepak is a chartered Civil Structural Engineer with 22 years of varied experience in reputed Multi-National Consultants and EPC Contractors. He has established structural integrity management systems programs for major operators. Deepak has strong capability in Engineering management, quality control, proposals, tendering, basic design, front end engineering, detailed engineering, module fabrications and project management / coordination for Oil & Gas (onshore & offshore), Hydrocarbons, Power (Thermal & Nuclear), Pipeline, Process and Industrial building projects. He has successfully done project coordination as a team leader/project manager in various projects. He has vast experience in structural analysis, modularisation, transportation and lifting, structural integrity assessment / repair, design of RCC / steel plant buildings and –technological Structures, industrial buildings like workshop, warehouse, fitness centres, camp accommodation facilities, static and dynamic analysis of various machine foundations such as compressor, gas turbine, steam turbine, etc. He delivers engineering services with fitting diligence. He is proficient with Australian Codes, American codes, UBC, IBC, BP and SHELL Standards.

SANKAR GHOSH Principal Mechanical Engineering Consultant

Sankar is a Mechanical engineer with over 38 years of experience in the design and engineering of mineral processing (Gold, Copper, Nickel, Alumina, Diamond), carbon black projects, cement projects and chemical plants in Australia and overseas. He has successfully executed conceptual design, feasibility study, detailed design and engineering, plant operation, productivity improvement studies, trouble shooting, testing and commissioning management, technical advising, review and estimation. He has specialist knowledge and experience as an equipment engineer in preparation of technical specification, tender document, technical evaluation and placement of order for large dry and wet Grinding Mills, Rotary Kilns, Calciners, Reactors, Ship Loaders, Ship Unloaders, large Apron Feeders, Stackers and Reclaimers.
